District Bowling Tournament Returns to Monaca Turners
After nearly six years, the Monaca Turners proudly welcomed back the District Bowling Tournament, marking a new chapter in our club’s bowling history. This long-awaited event became possible thanks to the complete rehabilitation of our bowling alley, a project that began in June 2025. By September 2025, the bowling alley had been transformed with brand-new pinsetters, ball returns, monitors, and flooring. As one organizer shared, “The upgrades have truly breathed new life into our venue, and it’s wonderful to see everyone coming together again.” The first leg of the tournament took place on November 15th and 16th, featuring spirited competition between three dedicated teams: Beaver Falls Turners, Rochester Turners, and Monaca Turners. The competition will continue over several months, with matches scheduled periodically, leading up to the highly anticipated final event in March 2026. One bowler commented, “It’s fantastic to compete in such a friendly atmosphere. The shared excitement is contagious—everyone’s eager for the next round!” At the conclusion of the tournament, bowling plaques engraved with the names of the winning teams will be awarded. These plaques will remain with the champions until the start of the next year’s tournaments, symbolizing both victory and the enduring spirit of our bowling community. We’re thrilled to have revived this cherished tradition and look forward to seeing even more memories made in the coming months.

No Smoking Policy
No Smoking Policy Approved No Smoking Policy Effective March 1, 2025The Trustees of the Monaca Turners unanimously approved (4 votes yes, one vote absent) to implement a No Smoking Policy (which includes vaping, e-cigarettes, cigars, etc.) within the Monaca Turners, effective March 1, 2025We are asking all smokers to either use the smoking area located through the double doors just off the kitchen in the dining area (this area is to be used by guests during events, or members if there are no events), or the newly established smoking area for members, which will be located through the door in the "golf room".Members and guests are not permitted to cut through the kitchen to access these outside smoking areas, nor are they permitted to smoke at the front entrance of the building, or anywhere inside the Monaca Turners.We value and appreciate our entire membership, and by keeping in mind the Turners motto of promoting healthy lifestyles (Sound Mind, Sound Body), we felt it was necessary to make change.Please remember that alcohol is not permitted anywhere outside of the building, except in the already designated smoking area located through the double doors in the dining room.Thank you for your understanding, and we will continue to work with our membership to create a welcoming environment for all.
